Fire investigation division

The Fire Investigation Division is committed to conducting professional and competent fire investigations, as well as carrying out prosecutions in Court and drafting acts related to firefighting.

• Conducting scientific and systematic fire investigations to identify the causes, sources and circumstances of fires and to submit recommendations for fire prevention measures and improving the effectiveness of firefighting operations.
• Implement effective fire prosecutions that can provide lessons and fire safety awareness (deterrent).
• Drafting draft acts related to firefighting and regulations thereunder.

Our commitment is to ensure that all fire investigations and the preparation of investigation papers for violations of the Fire Services Act 1988 (Act 341) are carried out systematically and effectively.With that we promise to:

• Complete the fire investigation paperwork within fourteen (14) days after the fire investigation is initiated.
• Complete an investigation paper for violations of the Fire Services Act 1988 (Act 341) within twenty-one (21) days from the date the complaint is received.
